Originally built in 1952, Anton Stadium immediately became the focal point for sports in our community and continues to be the only community sports complex in the Ukiah Valley. This facility supports activities for more than seven recreation serving groups.  Furthermore, it holds significant history to the citizens of Ukiah as it was built entirely by volunteers in 1952.  The grandstand structure which once housed team locker rooms and showers had deteriorated beyond renovation and has since been demolished.

A volunteer citizen group was formed in late 2005 when the City of Ukiah was granted a $500,000 State Park Grant to renovate the complex.  The heritage of the original structure, as well as the various recreation programs of Anton Stadium, took priority in the design and renovation plans.  The citizen group is tasked with raising an additional $500,000 to complete the building of a four thousand square-foot grandstand structure.

This stadium will be supported by concrete and steel, but most importantly you!  We hope you will consider giving a gift that will have a lasting impact on future generations of this community.  If you would like to make a donation to this campaign, click on the Donate button, mail in a pledge card or contact us.
